Ross Perot NEVER had the popularity that Sarah Palin holds.

Nor was Ross Perot as polarizing as Sarah Palin. I love Sarah, and applaud what she's done for our cause. However, there are far too many of us around who took the chance and voted for Ross Perpt. And, there is no dispute that it was his candidacy splitting the vote that ushered in Bill Clinton. Sarah Palin would not only split the vote on the right, it would solidify the vote on the left. You forget, that as much as we love her, the left, and also the media hate her. The only way she could win, is if she were able to secure the Republican nomination, any other course is deadly folly for our side.

Read post 76, Perot was like Obama was in 2008, people just followed him without even knowing his politics, they just assumed that he mirrored their own.
