I think we need to wake up to the fact that 95 percent or so of the Republicans who want our votes are able to put on a conservative act, but are not willing to take conservative action.

Walker did good with the government employee unions to balance the state’s budget, but after that I find him lacking.....

I share your wariness of GOP leaders just mouthing the right things, but never taking action. It reminds me of the Dem politicians in the South, during my youth. They’d come down to their districts, talking all conservative for the crowds, and then go back up to DC and vote lockstep with their Dem leaders for every hairbrained liberal bill that came their way. It’s one of the reasons I strongly gravitated to the GOP, because even though their conservatism might vary, at least they voted the way they spoke. Nowadays, though, the GOP politicians have become just as duplicitous as those Southern Dems used to be.

I’ve grown to intensely distrust them all. Seeing the GOP so pathetically fold on issues like amnesty and homo-marriage, is the last straw for me. If all they do is mouth a lot of (insincere) disapproval, and then do absolutely nothing to stop it, then there is no longer a single, solitary reason for me to ever vote GOP again.
