For the most part he’s right, but he’s never tried Shiner Bock.

That’s Texan beer. Big difference.

American Beer* is like making love in a canoe.

I.E., F@^cking close to water.

*Except for Yuengling, Sam Adams, and a few other crafty brands. Brewers (And Drinkers) of "lite" beers deserve firing squads.

*And one should never forget its highest and best use: poisoning garden slugs

Relative to the major national brewers what they serve up is filthy water or worse. We have many micro breweries and small regional breweries Shiner for example, that serve up a quality brew equal or better than anything in Europe.

Coors and Bud Light are a crime against humanity worthy of criminal prosecution in the world court of justice in the Hague.

Yuengling is the only beer that does not make me vomit. Lagers in general have the taste anyways, ie. Beers from Hamburg.

Shiner puts out many good products. Every year they put out an anniversary beer; I think this year it is 104, and those are heavy and yummy, but for my money, I will always go with Shiner Black.

It is so good I served it at my wedding at the Ladybird Johnson wildflower Center.
