In a dispute over whether Ferguson police officers should wear name tags, spouses of officers say they fear for their families safety should their names be revealed.
Regardless, the Department of Justice is pushing hard to make name tags required, despite reports of violent threats from protesters.
According to the wife of one police officer, protesters have screamed profanity at her husband and specifically threatened to rape and murder her and her family should they ever find out the officers name.
She said that protesters have told her husband, we`re going to go to your house. We`re going to rape your wives then we`re going to kill them and we`re going to kill your children, all while Department of Justice agents looked on.

BTTT
"No, you won't!"
Every name tag should read “Eric Holder”.
LOL! Now that would be anonymity!
L-style engagement.
They should have been arrested, immediately!! The remark can be construed as imminent AND in the future. So err on the side of public safety and arrest the fools.
Well duh, anyone ever been to South Africa? What else would you expect?
Sound familiar sleeping Americans? They need to be put down like a horse with a bum leg
That almost makes sense, if and only if, the "demonstrators" are required also to wear name tags, and use of masks or face covering is subject to immediate arrest.
Otherwise, law enforcement should also be allowed to act anonymously and wear masks or other face covering.
For me, in spite of the occasional bad cop, I will give the cops the benefit of the doubt, since only an occasional "demonstrator" is not out to create mayhem and other criminal acts.
The racist Justice Department should stay the hell out of Ferguson, too. Their only effect, intended or not, is to incite the criminals, because they all assume (correctly) that it is on their (criminal) side, no matter what.
That is such a damned shame that decent people like that get trampled underfoot when things like this happen
I keep praying for blizzards and freezing rain-anything to get those evil fools to settle down and GO HOME
The way it has always been is stuck in the minds of those who fail to learn and the ones who don’t want change.
Looting in their mind is what is owed to them they never left the cave.
I honestly think that this is the end of the 60s radical ginned up outrage thing.
Don't need no Weatherman to see which way to see which way the wind
