Catholics WROTE the Bible and the first old fart with a funny hat was St Peter. Post #29: kinda think that God didn't write anything....He did His writing through the efforts of man (excluding the ten commandments and the stone placques given to Moses of course). He used the Catholic Church as His medium of communication to mankind...everyone knows that.
