Germany asked for its 300 tons of gold back from the US depository.
They got 37 tons.
Now reports say the German leadership is satisfied and they don’t want more back?
I wonder what is really going on behind the scenes.
I read the the Fed offered something like $15 Trillion in backstops to European banks in 08/09.
The irony of course is that it is all funny money in the end.
