They are learning the hard way that socialism does not work.

Apparently the only thing we forgot was to tell them to ignore their Marxist professors and don't vote for poverty tyranny, and mediocrity by voting for democrats.

They traded their American dream for Obama.

Socialism always works just fine until it runs out of other people’s money.

Um, because the companies which are allegedly for America, have exported all of their production to communist China, and no longer provide employment for Americans?

(just guessing)

>>>According to CNN, 260,000 Americans with a college or professional degree made at or below the federal minimum wage last year.<<<

Below the minimum wage? I thought only the illegals here who pick cabbage on the farms make less (which is why we need amnesty - so that they can command higher wages and allow a new crop of illegals in to pick up the slack) than minimum.

But these are degreed Americans. Mmmm....

‘The couple, who live near Seattle, declared bankruptcy in 2011 when the value of the house they then owned plunged to less than $200,000 from the $349,000 they paid for it four years earlier, just as the economic slump was about to start. Jason even stopped getting haircuts to save money.

“We thought we’d have a white picket fence, two kids, two dogs, and we’d have $100,000 in equity,” said Jason, 33, who does have two children. “It’s just really frustrating.”’

I know from experience the Seattle housing market was grossly inflate and probably still is. We decided not to buy and eventually moved from the area. Cost of living is very high, traffic is terrible (around Seattle) and its a liberal cesspool. Its like being in the US but living in a commie country all at the same time.

But for millions of them, that dream might as well be a million miles away right now.

It was alot closer before they decided to vote for Hope 'n Change.

Well, they’re learning the hard way. Except for the hardcore basket cases, the longer they live and the harder they work, the more conservative they will become.

A survey conducted earlier this year found that 47 percent of all Millennials are using at least half of their paychecks to pay off debt.

Is that not true for anyone that has a mortgage and a car payment or two?

No sympathy here. They got exactly what they voted for and the (mostly) arrogant, smug morons will vote a BIG “D” in 2016 because they buy in to the “it’s all Republican’s fault” BS.

In 2005, the homeownership rate for U.S. households headed up by someone under the age of 35 was approximately 43 percent. Today, it is sitting at about 36 percent.

Isn’t that because home ownership has been discovered to not be the panacea that everyone thought it was? Home ownership is not a sign of wealth, unless you own it free and clear.

I paid $1600 a month to rent a home in the Seattle area that, had I bought it, I would have been looking at $3600 a month payments and property taxes.

Hence the reason why we need a major streamlining of business regulations and especially a massive overhaul of income taxation laws to really stimulate the economy. Too many (sometimes contradictory) business laws and a tax system that favors debt spending over savings is literally killing the US economy.
