How much cheating would a student who had only a combined 1054 SAT score have to do to be in the top 5% of his/her class at a prestigious/ competitive entry university? That’s a LOT even for BillyJeff. A student with those scores would be lucky to complete G’town, much less graduate in the top 5%.

Seriously, he is a despicable person, but I’d credit his having natural intelligence at a high level. More than I’d give the current office holder.

BJ was a congressional page (Fulbright!) and he completed Georgetown's School of Foreign Service special program for pages. It's a very cool program but was never all that academically rigorous. He also got a Fulbright (suprise, surprise) to study at Oxford. He left amidst some never-quite resolved rape charges and then spent a very mysterious year or so traveling around Russia, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany. Thereafter, he went to Yale Law and met Hillary. The rest is mirky history.

He did have an excellent HS record and is actually a very smart evil toxic guy. Compared to Barry (now there's one dumb SOB), whom he despises, he's Einstein. IMNVHO, BJ was one very immorally and amorally bad very horny coke-snortin' SOB, but not, strangely, IMO, the worst President we've ever had. Great politician. Been in the same room with him and he gives off HEAT. Charisma, baby ... and now worth many many hundreds of $Millions!!

Not bad for a small town sex offender of illegitimate birth.

I have to agree that he seems much more intelligent than a score in the 1000s would indicate. But it's not an IQ score. It's possible he goofed off during the SAT's (when puberty was distracting him) and used his sports, activities, essay and connections to get admitted, but then hauled some butt when he finally got into university -- he does seem motivated by personal competition. Who knows?

Extraneous factors can enter in. I took my SATs on the worst day of my cycle, and believe I could have done 500 to 1000 points higher if it had been otherwise. Even as it was, I scored higher than Dubya, who ostensibly scored higher than Clinton.
