Washington November 5, 2014 Contrary to the myth that all American Jews vote with Democratic and other liberal parties, thousands yesterday helped the Republican party to retake the US House of Representatives and the US Senate.
For many of us, we didnt see this Republican victory as one club conquering another, said Joel Leyden, Director of Israel 4 USA.
We realized that the mid-term elections represented basic security issues for both the US and Israel.
Between suffering terror attacks in Jerusalem, threats to the US by ISIS, Islamic Jihad and Hamas and having a US President who throws insults at us, calling Israel chickenshit for not weakening our security, we knew we had to do all we could to get Republican control of congress.
In the House, the GOP secured at least 246 seats, its largest majority since World War II. Speaker John Boehner, celebrating a widened majority, said he is humbled by the responsibility the American people have placed with us.
With seats still to be decided in Virginia, Alaska and Louisiana where there will be a runoff in December the GOPs massive wave currently has 52 seats in the Senate.
We are at a pivotal moment, both domestically and internationally, said the RJC.
The Presidents low job approval ratings, coupled with the voters repudiation of Democrats and their policies across the country in this election, signal that the country is looking for leadership and the Republican-led Congress will provide it.
The Republican Jewish Coalition played an important role in todays victory. Our members contributed and raised millions of dollars for campaigns around the country.
The RJC PAC made significant contributions to critical races. And our grassroots events energized our members to participate in get-out-the-vote efforts.
Leyden, an American born Israeli who has served as an officer in the IDF, added that much of his creative efforts were now directed to providing digital PR and marketing consulting support for the 2016 US Presidential race.
The US and Israel could not be closer. The US Congress, the Department of Defense and Israel are on the same page, same paragraph, same word.
Now we need to elect a US President who places the security of both the US and Israel as a priority.
People talk about the economy, but there will be no economy if US infrastructure, interests and allies abroad are not well protected.
These two democratic nations will not live under an Iranian nuclear threat, we will not live under the threat of continued Islamic terror attacks not in Washington, not in Jerusalem.
my friends in Israel are all very happy about the election results .
All of our old allies to whom Obama has treated like dirt, they also have reasons to cheer.
America is not Obama, America is it's people.
Obama is a goner and we will count the days.

On that thought - our founding document says “We the People” not “Me Obama.”
Jewish Republicans — the few, the proud...
Thank You! It sometimes feel as if I’m the only Jewish Republican in America. Gun owner, CCL lic, and so far right it hurts so good. American by birth. Jew by faith. Right wing by the wisdom G_D gave me. Ready to stand and fight for my freedom.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Nice article. J Street just released a poll that says Jews overwhelmingly supported democrats. All 800 they called in the 50 states. Jews support the President on Iran too.
Not to disparage J Street, who love Israel to death (Israel's), but in most states the Presidential exit polls the Jewish vote is characterized as too small to be relevant. Even in states like Illinois and California, if I recall even Florida. And I'm supposed to believe 24 hours after an election J Street has conducted a poll gauging the opinions of Jewish Americans.
Somewhat related, Susan Rice claiming Israel's ambassador to the US is a pawn of Sheldon Adelson, the embodiment of the Rothchilds and the Masons. For showing up at an RJC event. Glad they're having an impact, the RJC and Adelson. And glad they irritate the administration, though personally I think her commentary is borderline anti-Semitic, the Koch brothers need a break.
Susan Rice Mocks Israeli Ambassador: He's Too Busy Traveling to Sheldon Adelsons Events
Rice is downright creepy.
I like the phrase “temporary occupant of the White House”
They probably took a poll of their own pro-Islamist anti-Israel membership and claimed it represented a random sampling of American Jews. After all, radical organizations like J Street think of themselves as "mainstream." Leftists are always delusional and/or compulsive liars.
J Street was founded as a Soros-funded Obama cheerleading group and has remained so throughout it six-year history. It hopefully will fade into the ashbin of history when Obama and his ideology have been fully repudiated by the American people, Jewish and non-Jewish.
FWIW, speaking of Jewish Republicans as a whole, there was at least one Jewish Republican elected to Congress yesterday: Lee Zeldin (RINO) of New York (1st CD). (Following Cantor's resignation on the heels of his primary defeat, there had been no Jewish Republicans in Congress.)
So are mine..I have many family members who live in Israel who absolutely DESPISE Obama, they know Obama and the left hate Israel it shows everyday
You’re not alone! ~waves~
