Moms Demand Action (MDA) disarmenters have threatened to make false 911 calls to police, and encouraged others to do so.

Promoting and endorsing dangerous criminal behavior. If we had a real attorney general they could face some serious charges.

I've been stopped while armed in Fairfax County a few times. They were always nice fellas and we usually ended up talking guns for a while.

Whoever does this "SWATing" needs a thorough flogging in public. d:^)

What the swatters are REALLY hoping for is for a policeman to get killed and thus trigger a call for a massive disarmament push.

An organization abhorring gun violence actively ENCOURAGES gun violence?

That’s like fighting “global warming” by dumping oil in rivers.

Swatting is very risky. People have been killed.

Unless the person siccing the SWAT suffers consequence, as well as the SWAT-team itself, there's very little risk to anyone but the victim.

Open carry is so stupid unless you are an LEO. YES it’s your right. But you give the bad guys the drop on you.

So they are familiar with this caller. This caller has committed a serious crime but they seem to know who it is and do nothing. Perhaps a little VIGILANCE is needed.

If the police can determine the identity of the SWATter, hopefully they can file criminal charges, and their victim can file civil charges. If they were employed by MDA, this could even lead to a criminal conspiracy charge.

If two men walk into a liquor store with intent to rob and one is shot dead by the proprietor, the accomplice, if caught, can face murder charges for his buddy. Anyone calling in a swat standoff that results in wrongful death, should be charged with premeditated murder. Period.

It’s also illegal. The caller needs to have his day(s) in court/courts i.e. criminal and civil court. Destroy that SOB and make an example.

From the article...

” It appears that the caller is of diminished mental capacity.”

That one line speaks volumes.

It pisses me off that law abiding citizens feel the need to suck up to cops when we haven’t done anything wrong? “Can I put my hands down now, please?”

“Is it okay if I get down on my knees and kiss your boots, officer?”

The 911 dispatcher tries to get details to substantiate what the caller is saying. The dangerous part is that the caller does get most things correct.

Did they try calling the 7-11 and asking an employee there if they had been robbed?

Swatting is very risky. People have been killed.

Not terribly risky to the people doing it. Very risky to the victims, and to the cops.

“An eye for an eye” applies here. If you falsely accuse someone of a crime, then you get the punishment for said crime that you attempted to inflict on an innocent person.
