I got a little wild and polished my slide over the course of a few weekends to a mirror finish.
I could use that slide to peek around corners and everything with it.

I think you can pay $200 for a adapter that allows you to screw a filter on the gun.
Naaa. Rick Grimes used the Oil Filter Suppressor in the first episode of the third season of The Walking Dead.
He upgraded to the Osprey in the 5th season.

I figured if it's good enough for Rick.....

Well, I just got home from the range. Shot about 250 rounds out of it.
There was the, “First round pop,” that I kept hearing about on YouTube and the SilencerCo website, but it was really smooth after that.
Even with the sights slightly blocked by the Osprey, I was still able to hit where I was aiming at, and the recoil was reduced nicely.
The only issue (If you can call it that) was the burning gasses continuously slamming into my face. I still can kinda taste it at the back of my throat. Ugh!
There was a guy there shooting three bays over who came to my bay asking, “What ARE you shooting?” The .45 suppressed sounds like someone slamming a broomhandle into a cardboard box, while all the other shooters sounded like regular gunfire.
I let him shoot a few rounds, and he fell in love.
I’m looking forward to taking the guys from work in to let them have some fun with this beast.

Yep. Right out the back. The piston for the Osprey has a spring that makes the whole thing move forward on the barrel. The gap created kinda acts as an exhaust.
I think all .45 ACP cartridges are sub-sonic.

I think all .45 ACP cartridges are sub-sonic. Doh! I am really not as stupid as I sound sometimes. LOL.

FYI, I had to look it up. The only 45ACP round that might not be subsonic would be 185gr in +P, using Federal HSTs numbers, the rest appear to be including the 230gr in +P.
