Ebola has a special liking for pregnant women.
It does seem that way from several different reports, but I wonder if those instances were more likely to have been reported because it was a pregnant woman, creating a false impression.
If Ebola infection actually is a higher infection risk for pregnant women, then that tells us something else about the disease. There have been viral outbreaks in the recent past that were more risky for pregnant women.
It does indeed. First the baby crashes out and dies. Then mom miscarries. And never stops bleeding...
