People can talk all they want about racism, but there are some genes that enable black athletes to succeed above white ones and some genes that enable white people to survive disease and maybe even invent cures for disease. But somehow most folks do not get it all in one package.
Not exactly. Look at the swimmers, gymnasts, weight guys, high jumpers, middle distance men, wrestlers, etc. There are plenty of white athletes at top levels in many sports.
That said, clearly athletes of West African descent dominate the sprints, regardless of which national colors they happen to be wearing at any particular Olympics. If and when the African diaspora reaches China, the top Chinese sprinters will be black. This seems clearly to be genetic. Speed is, in turn, a critical factor in many team sports, which is why we see black athletes dominating the speed positions in, for example, football. White guys hold their own everywhere else.
Speed is important, but it is not the only key athletic attribute.
