Okay then here's the thing. Did he suspect he had Ebola...or did he KNOW he had ebola? If he only suspected it would have been nuts to leave if he didn't have any symptoms. But if he had symptoms then he must have guessed he had ebola.
But here's the kicker. If he KNEW he had ebola because of early symptoms that means that he had symptoms as he was traveling through all the airports and getting on all the airplanes.
We'll know in a week or two...
Excellent
Don’t understand.
If he applied for a visa shortly after he was exposed, then he had intent.
if he applied before he was exposed, he’s not guilty.
I would never intentionally put someone else in that situation, and definitely not those I love.
This episode should be a warning on what will happen when the SHTF.
Humans will do almost anything to stay alive and keep their family alive.
This is an example, on a small scale what will happen when SHTF.
You are an honorable person, most are not.
I have wondered the same thing.
My only question is whether or not Valerie Jarret has made up her mind to let Mr Duncan recover. Is it better for the regime if he recovers? .......or not? If he doesn’t recover, that might give others who would follow in his footsteps pause for thought. How is he doing?
ps Mr Duncan was the private driver for the general manager of the company.
The van driver for Senator Obama later became the spokesman for the National Security Council.
If we can fly home U.S. citizens who are ill why don’t we just put this guy on a return flight.
Let his government pay his bills.
.
His Ebola exposure took place only four days before his departure. He had bought his airline ticket (and presumably obtained his visa) well before that.

Bryan Preston needs to improve his reading comprehension. How would SafeWay Cargo manager Henry Brunson, who admits to not having seen or heard from Duncan since he quit his job (as Brunson's driver) on the 4th, be a witness as to whether Duncan knew?
That same Liberian article, to which Preston links and from which he quotes, also quotes the cab driver indicating that he was not told the nature of the pregnant woman's illness. That would leave open the possibility that Duncan wasn't told, either. The fact that he didn't demand Ebola treatment when they sent him off from his first ER visit with antibiotics would also support the fact that he didn't know he he'd been exposed and did not travel to the US in order to get effective Ebola therapy.
Yep. A nice safety blanket.
Humans will do desperate things in desperate times.
This man is an example.
I like Vetman’s planning skills.
We should all be prepared.

Bring Out Your Dead
Were gonna need
a bigger cart!
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
This claim doesn’t fit with the timeline. We know that Duncan was here for a number of days before seeking treatment, and that the first time Duncan went to the hospital, he was sent home because the hospital didn’t recognize the Ebola possibility. If Duncan knew he had Ebola, and came here to get treatment, wouldn’t he have sought treatment immediately, and not let the hospital ‘miss’ the Ebola he knew about?
Duncan does have a network of family and friends here. Could be some of them paid his way hoping to get him the medical attention they knew he would not get there. I keep going back to the nephew. The one in NC I think it was, that supposedly called the CDC himself because the hospital didn’t admit Mr Duncan right away. I saw another interview with that same nephew questioning why Mr. Duncan was not getting the meds that the Dr in Atlanta got. Apparently the nephew was not aware there is no more.
The narrative is that a relative of Mr Duncan’s living in NC(?) personally phoned the CDC on his behest. I wonder if Mr Duncan is English speaking.
Silson Global Business, an authorized service contractor for UPS. Duncan's former employer is SafeWay Cargo, which is the Liberian customs clearance agent for FedEx.
Presumably, both firms do business around the airport. Perhaps Duncan knew somebody at Silson who had the authority to buy airline tickets on Silson's dime, and a little bribery and embezzlement took place.
My best guess is Duncan needed a round-trip ticket for visa purposes but was not planning ever to use the return trip, thus joining the approximately 25 to 45% of our illegals who are visa overstayers.
Is the Sept 2 ticket purchase date a fact? .....or obfuscation?
WoW 2dv ... nice tagline
