Then perhaps you can be constructive and not throw darts by mischaracterizing the scriptures
To point out logical fallacies in the arguments of others is constructive. To question others on their interpretation of Scripture should not be referred to as "mischaracterization" - unless you hold that only your interpretation is valid and to doubt it is tantamount to heresy.
Of course, I have my own tentative interpretation - which I am not attempting to ram down anyone's throats.
Which you haven't even put forth - only denigrate others
What, I'm required to advance my own theory / interpretation / speculation?
And again: To point out flaws and weaknesses in the fallacious arguments of others is hardly "denigrating" those persons. I have at no time made any offensive or even only sarcastic remarks towards/about you, personally.
A little more civility when engaging in polite discourse would become you.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. . . .
I challenge you to point out even a single remark I've made towards you which could fairly be characterized as insulting, rude, or even sarcastic.
Regards,
You haven't displayed any ability to understand the scripture in the first place, let alone be qualified to point out 'logical fallacies' on a subject you've displayed ignorance on.
What, I'm required to advance my own theory / interpretation / speculation?
You say you have one - put up or shut up.
