Back in October last year Russell Brand made waves by urging people to incite revolution by not voting. He admitted in an interview with Jeremy Paxman that he had never voted, and never intended to, but went on to exhort people not to vote, claiming that democracy needed to be swept away. Was expected to go Yes. But this time Yes slightly exceeded what they were expected for a draw. Dundee also was did not lag what Yes needed as much as what was occurring earlier in the evening elsewhere
Midlothian votes No 56-44
It was a battleground area.
EastLothian votes 38-62
expected for No
Stirling, 60% NO 40% Yes.
Stirling votes No 60-40
It was a battleground area.
Big swing for the NO campaign
Falkirk 53% NO 47% Yes.
Falkirk votes No 53.5-46.5
Another big swing toward the No side.
Five out of six swing areas have been called for the No side.

Angus votes No 56-44. Was expected for No.
Aberdeen votes No. 41-59
Dumfries votes No 68-32. Expected to be among the strongest No areas
East renfrewshire Votes No 58-42 Expected No.

Yeah, I think that I will bag it.
Some commentators are starting to call it for the No campaign. Total votes are opening up a substantial lead for No, and there is nothing coming up that looks like it might change that.
Anticipated Yes areas have gone to No, and the swing areas have already pretty much been swept by No.

North Lanarkshire Votes Yes Narrowly 51-49
South Lanarkshire Votes NO by a larger margin, more than making up the votes from the North.
West Lothian votes No 53-47
