Back in October last year Russell Brand made waves by urging people to incite revolution by not voting. He admitted in an interview with Jeremy Paxman that he had never voted, and never intended to, but went on to exhort people not to vote, claiming that democracy needed to be swept away. (You can read the full babbling transcript here.)
Has he changed his mind?(continued)

The latest is that the exit polls are indicating a 54%-46% “No” win (good), and that the turnout has been exceptionally high (even better).
It turns out that applies to NATO, too. And would the current government actually want to be in NATO? So I guess Scots independence isn't really in the US interest.
There's a lot of romantic interest attached to the idea of history being made, but a lot of history has been made in our lifetime, and when it actually happens a lot of the time we don't actually notice.
Labour MP Diane Abbott, speaking to the BBC in Westminster, says that “Labour MPs will be relieved that it looks like we’re going to squeak through” with a narrow “No” victory.
as of 6:44 PM US East Coast time.
From Breitbart’s live blog:
The Mirror is reporting that the postal votes have the No campaign winning comfortably.
Separately, there is an anecdotal reports of last minute deciders tending toward yes (to keep some suspense).
The only direct interest the US has in Scotland is the submarine based Trident nuclear weapons that are home based in Scotland. England has no current capability to hold them.
Scotland wants to evict all nuclear weapons.
The US UK have a workaround that we would rent them space at one of our bases for 10 years while they construct one in England.
This is a short term issue.
Five million Leftist out of the UK electorate would result in a more pro-US Westminster government and higher GDP per capita UK.
If Quebec exited Canada then the remaining Anlo-Canada would be a much better US ally too.
One only needs to look at Quebec and Ireland to see what Scotland will be like for the next 10 years.
Sorry, the Highland/Lowland religous split has been irrelevant since the time of Sir Walter Scott.
Apart from a few isolated incidents political unrest will NOT occur. The only way political unrest may happen is some sort of Florida 2000 scenario. Even then it will be marginal at most.
From BBC live blog:
Yes camp “much happier now than half an hour ago”. Senior source says Glasgow “looking good for us”.
The Queen is at Balmoral Castle, which probably indicates that the fix is in.
The “Yes” fix, or the “No” fix? Just wondering. Thanks.
So where are the Illuminati hanging out?
It most likely means that the Queen is at Balmoral Castle. You can always tell these things because the Royal Standard is only hoisted when she is in residence. It's also an indication that the vote will be no, as she certainly knows, and would be most likely to be in Scotland when a no vote is announced.
If Scotland leaves, it will have to decide on keeping the Queen (like Canada) and joining the Commonwealth - so she should show the flag whether they stay or go with the UK.
I would expect a NO vote. I can’t imagine that she would be there if there was any chance of losing.
From Breitbart:
BBC reporting that Buckingham Palace believes the No side has won in #indyref, planning to make a statement tomorrow based on that.
The cultural split is still there though. Pro-independence feeling is much much stronger in the highlands.
Agreed. I would be surprised if there is any violence.
