Might be helpful to point out to him that there was only one time the Lord just dropped food out of the sky; the rest of the time He has expected people to work, harvest, and save. Specifically the Proverbs woman is commended in Scripture for her diligence in taking care of her household and providing for her family, so your husband should grant that your worth is "far above rubies."

Thanks for the words of wisdom, hadn’t looked at it that way before. Maybe because the Prov 31 woman makes me feel woefully inadequate.

A bigger story is Joseph and the 7 year famine. The Lord will provide all that you need for salvation but you need to do your own washing and cooking!
