I just want to know what American troops are supposed to do when confronted by a desperate machete wielding mob? Will they be allowed to defend themselves? Will they face charges if they defend themselves?

All we will get (besides Ebola) are Senate and House hearings in 2016 about the failure in West Africa, if there is time after the Bengahzi stuff.
