If we don't stop Ebola in Africa now, we will be dealing with it in the U.S. and the cost will be astronomical.
There are things they can do.
- If they go in to set up medical facilities, they should be able to do that in isolation without coming in contact with many Africans.
- Delivering supplies. They wouldn't even have to go into a clinic or even near one. They just need to get the supplies to the vicinity and let the health care workers pick them up and take them into the treatment centers.
- Help enforce quarantines. As long as they shoot people trying to cross quarntine lines at a distance and are wearing protective gear to protect against any blood spray in the air. Then the greatest risk is disposing of the bodies. Mass grave and a bulldozer should limit the risk.
