Bad practice and pain certainly clears your friggin mind for perfect practice.
Have YOU ever build a wood gas generator and cleaner to run an internal combustion machine?

Please appreciate the wisdom of the statement given to me by my favorite pistol instructor.
I have designed and built machinery of very far greater complexity than in your challenge, and I have done it professionally for decades. And I have done it since being a teenager as recreation using junk materials at hand, as a pastime.
I did not come here for a pi$$ing contest.
I appreciate your skills and I bet you could safely feed a big group of men, and do it under adverse conditions. But don’t challenge me to a machine building contest. Trust me on that.
Damn sure will, if I need your skills and you are handy. I'd expect you would win.
Appreciate the wisdom of a piano teacher from 50 years ago that you can't do it if you don't try it.
It ain't a pissing contest. I'd cheat, and win. ;)
Practice doesn't have to be perfect for it to be of use.
