How deep is your well?
If it is less than 50’, you can buy a pitcher pump (from quirky hardware store) for about $50. It will have 1 1/4 fpt. Installs so easy, even a girl can do it.

Thanks for the tip! Will look for it, and we do have a shallow well but not sure exactly how deep.
