It’s too stupid to contemplate-and PC is at the heart of it because NO ONE wants to say ‘you’re not worth $15 an hour’. The JOBS aren’t worth that. So, lets say it happens-you have to pay that much minimum wage. If I own a franchise I have ONE cook ONE cashier and fire everyone else. Or I automate( one big expense then only maintenance) and keep my business open with NO employees ! Oh- and what good will $15 p.h wage do you if the burgers cost $10,and all prices go up to cover it? Now you can’t afford to buy fast food and you’re ‘poor’ again.
