Anyone who has become close to animals knows there is more going on in their heads than was commonly believed.

They don't think like we do--horses have alien minds, being large, flighty herbivores, for example--but they do think. Sometimes, they train us.

I told my daughter I wished dogs could talk. She said “why, they would just wake you up at 2 a.m. saying ‘scratch my butt’”. LOL

But my dogs love me and I love them and that’s all that matters.
