That may be what it takes for our so called "leaders," all of them, finally to do what needs to be done.
Think:
Battle of Vienna, 1529
Battle of Lepanto, 1571
> Battle of Vienna, 1529
> Battle of Lepanto, 1571
You forgot the “Siege of Vienna” on September 11, 1683 when Jan Sobieski led a Christian force of Polish, Viennese, Italian, German and other troops against a 300,000 strong Muslim Army four times their size and handed their butts to them on a plate.
Battle of Vienna, 1529
Battle of Lepanto, 1571
Not to mention...
Battle of Tours, 732
The Crusdaes, 1095-1291
Siege of Vienna, 1683
Battle of Khartoum, 1884
The Twin Towers, 2001
Etc., etc., etc.
The point being that Islam and the West have intermittently clashed over the past 1400 years. Thanks to technology, the pace of engagement has sharply accelerated in the recent past. And it's a pattern that isn't going to end until the West takes the threat seriously...and ends it.
Or, alternatively, the West surrenders and Islam prevails.
