I will believe it when I hear it.

But from everything I have read from “official” and pretty reliable sources, I doubt there will be a conviction.

Whether its at trial, or with no indictment—the acquittal of the officer will spark a lot more trouble.

I wouldn’t be surprised he is changing his story, probably told to cooperate or he would be facing felony murder charges.
