Be fair, which one of us is more bloodthirsty? — again, unsure how familiar you’re with traditional persian literature, poetry & culture which is largely based on zoroastrianism & later (had to) incorporate islamic sensitivities or be mindful of it to be acceptable ... drinking wine isn’t prohibited in zoroastrianism. Anyhow, historically the natives of those lands conquered by islam knew islamic savagery quite well. But must add that mongol invasion was even more barbaric than muslim arab one in iran.
Interestingly, the Mongols fairly readily converted to Islam when they remained in the Crimea etc. Birds of a bloody feather.
