As someone who trains NRA Personal Protection
instructors, I have some concerns about 35 feet
of shell casings from the officer's gun.

Particularly if the first shell casing was in the cruiser.

Very poor tactics.

Why don't the Ferguson PD train and carry Tasers ?

If a subject is trying to get your gun from you while beating you in a tightly enclosed space, you don’t tase him. You shoot him.

I don’t know what you’re referring to about casings at 35 ft., perhaps you mean subject at 35 ft instead.

I really don’t care about shell casings, those are easily moved to support the police report. Presence of flash burns and where the entry wounds are is what is going to make this case.
