Thing is with the police, they are determined to come back home to their families and own homes, they don’t want to die. They’re in a state of hyper-vigilance, similar to that of a man in the military in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Uttering fighting words while facing down a mob is not hyper-vigilance... it’s the dumbassery of a low IQ rent-a-thug.
