Christie is unsavory but he’d clean up in the debates and possibly win the general. The bridge thing is moot. He connects with common people on a visceral level. We may have to get behind him as lesser of two evils.

We may have to get behind him as lesser of two evils. Conservatives don't compromise with evil.

Crispy Crème does connect with the base at a visceral level. They viscerally despise him.

"We may have to get behind him as lesser of two evils." I'm done lending my support to ANY evil.
The only thing I HAVE to do is stand before Jesus Christ to give an account of myself. I don't want to have to try and justify getting behind an abortion supporter and a queer lover. There are more important things than elections.
No matter what you say, conservatives won't support Romney. That really bugs you, doesn't it?
