Yes, I just wonder if it’s another futile fantasy. Rick Santorum was on fire in the primaries for awhile, remember? How many other times have we seen conservative candidates fall off the edge of the bed?
There were no first-tier serious Conservative candidates running. The establishment saw to that.
Lately we’ve learned the reason why so many conservatives candidates fall off. Their own party members are sabotaging them. Any true conservative will have to fight both party establishment/elite and democrats if they want to win. And the GOPe will do whatever they have to do to make sure the conservative loses.
