Cat D5N, LGP undercarriage, PAT blade, winch, enclosed cab with screen package and limb risers.””

Now we are getting massive here. Nothing can compare. I do have a very handy JD 5103, 50 HP tractor that is used for many chores. If that doesn’t do it, I have 4 larger ones. Dad always said, you can’t have too many guns or too many tractors.

Speed loader.

Lol! When I first saw this thread, I was thinking about being a smarta$$ & listing my "home made" (by a buddy, actually, who's a machinist by trade) "de-mooner," for removing .45auto cases from full-moon clips, closely followed by my old Dillon RL-550B reloading press!

I too have a leatherman but the light weight and slightly looser tolerances make the Gerber my handy companion. Actually the only trouble I really have with Gerbers and Leathermans is if you don’t keep them close they tend to walk away.

Hand tool: Klein Electician’s pliers.
Power tool: DeWalt cordless drill
Sentimental favorite: a Porter-Cable In-line worm gear circular saw. About 50 to 60 years old and about 50 to 60 pounds!

Okay. I have the ultimate yard tool. The video is at this link and I defy anyone to come up with a cooler yard tool.

We were issued Gerbers when I was in the Army. Had two of them break before I went and bought my own Leatherman. Had it ‘til it “walked away,” then bought myself the Wave that’s sitting on my belt right now....

I think baling wire was mentioned, but every tool bench/box needs a reel of tie wire such as the wire used to tie reinforcing. With lineman’s pliers it will cinch up almost anything for a minimal cost and is made from annealed wire which is very pliable.

Two definitions for Johnson Bar.

A Johnson bar is a hand lever with several distinct positions and a positive latch to hold the lever in the selected position.

And the second which is the one I referred to which allows one man to slowly move a loaded freight car by prying the Johnson bar between the rail & the wheel, causing the car to move just a bit. Keep repeating the operation and you can move a railcar, shunting it around the yard without an engine.

My favorite tool is the metric Crescent wrench and the metric pliers. They work on SAE bolts too.

Just kidding, but we had a person walk into the hardware store looking for a metric Crescent wrench a few days ago.

My favorite tool is a cordless drill / screwdriver.
