Agreed. Women like this see their abuser in every man they meet and genuinely can't understand that for women who have never been abused, or those who have but have been through the therapy to overcome it and forgive the one who hurt them, men aren't the enemy, and not all sex is shameful.

Sad indeed.

No kidding.
Imagine living in a world where fully half your species are violent monsters. Every guy you see, every guy in the store, every guy driving by, every guy you work with... monsters. Even the ones in your own family- Your grandfathers, uncles, brothers, nephews, cousins, even your father. (Especially your father.) And if you ever mess up and give birth to a boy he will be a monster, too.

(It just occurred to me- you know who actually does live close to this way? Muslim women who must wear a burqa to keep from being beaten or raped.)
