Well it’s their culture.
Likewise, in my culture, we have a tradition. When stone throwing savages wave their wiping hand in our direction loaded up with the remains of the rocks that rolled out of their brainpan, we shoot them.
So, to rip-off Napier, let them throw their projectiles, and I will throw mine and we’ll celebrate our respective cultures together. Though just once because they won’t be around for the next shindig.
That’s a nice nod to Napier. It strikes me that the observation+encouragement can be applied to many situations.
