Who were the top officers on that sub voyage?
Hmmm. Not sure but lucky for us that today, nobody has to worry about surfacing through the ice or traveling under it since it’s all gone now thanks to algore. Northwest passage anyone? :>}
“Who were the top officers on that sub voyage?”
I know one was Troy Donahue. Wait a minute, that was a movie. (grin)
Can you name the movie?
Skipper and principal author was Commander William R. Anderson, USN. The Book “Nautilus 90 North” was co-authored by Clay Blair Jr who later wrote “Silent Victory: The US Submarine War Against Japan”.
I read Anderson’s book in high school.
