I just finished reading a book about John Wayne. There was a part where he was at a party, called Kirk Douglas over to the side and chewed him out for playing the part of Vincent Van Gogh in a movie, something like:
“Jesus Christ, Kirk...there aren’t that many of us left! You can’t be playing the parts of weak, pansy f*****ts!” (or something close to that)
Wow .. that’s very interesting (if true); but I’d be curious to find out what parts Kirk played after that comment from John.
