When I was in college, one of my roommates was carded when he ordered a beer.

He's from Puerto Rico, and presented his license. At the time, P.R. driver's licenses didn't have a photo on them.

The bouncer said: "This is fake! I'm confiscating it!"

It took a nice chat with the manager to straighten things out.
