Are you purposefully ignoring the responsibility that the GOP-E has in this mess? No, but the GOPe is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dumb-as-crap partei. They never do anything to oppose them in any meaningful way even when they have the opportunity. It wouldn't surprise me if money actually, literally, changed hands.
