Am I missing something here? Even if the parade float were “racist,” it’s still protected free speech under the Constitution.
1) It’s protected political speech.
2) The First Amendment allows you to be “racist” and even engage in *gasp* non-politically correct speech.
3) Conceding the point of the float being “racist,” which I do not, how is this any different than the KKK being allowed to march in Skokie, for example?
