Technically the Headline WOULD be true, but it is 100% misleading!!!

Becasue most headlines are written to be both true and misleading.

Here is an example:

Say someone was accused of raping someone, but at the time of the Rape they were on another continent on World Wide TV News Network talking to someone live.

Then that someone dies a year later in a car crash.

The headline could be: “Accused Rapist dies in Car Crash in California”

It would be “technically true” but 100% misleading becasue the rape charge was just an accusation and easily debunked but since it was made the news can use it to slander someone or sell papers.
