Trying to keep some lines drawn here, at least philosophically.

Contemporary cultural relativism aside, my belief is that FR is intended to be exclusive of a “log cabin” type perspective, and that any discussion of “Malcolm X” needs to be even-handed in terms of the development of his philosophy from his very sick background combined with reference to its murderous effects upon individuals as well as the greater society.

(Same can be said of the works of James Baldwin, James H. Cone, and others spouting much of the same lines).
