With the IRS as our example, we can all save money, it seems, by resisting their audits and destroying records showing culpability, no? Better not let the IRS know if your data was backed up daily to offsite storage by Symantec NetBackup, Symantec's enterprise backup software. The IRS examiners might find it hard to believe that just because you lost a hard drive, your data was permanently lost.
