My regular summer carry gun is a 642. Light, small and plenty good.
I picked up my 36 new for about $134 back in 75 when I was stationed in Pensacola. We tried to shoot every week at one of the many sandpits. I`m sure I ran 5 to 10K rounds thru it. It amazed me how accurate it was with its fixed sights.
