And then the proper way to skin and prepare a bus once you caught it?
“Hey buddy, why’re ya tearin the body panels offa my bus?!”
I caught it, I must now consume it and leave nothing to waste.
I will wear its skin as clothing!
Good morning. I think I want some coffee this morning, but I’m not sure, yet.
Just like I’m trying to decide if I want to start emptying tubs this morning while it is still cool outside. Ungh...
You probably do.
Brett yeast wheel used in aromas of wines and beers.
I probably did. I was out there for 40 minutes, and had a nice breeze, so I emptied four boxes and three tubs. Most of the things in the tubs were immediately set aside for the thrift store, but I found all my Christmas dishes and part of the table decorations.
And socks. LOTS of socks and legwarmers! I even found a pair of Valentine socks with a little Frog Prince stuffed head on the front! LOL!
Also in one of the tubs were all the items I have crocheted for personal use, including an 80” round tablecloth. I’m so happy to have it!
No summer clothes, yet, but the few winter things will go into another tub and go into my closet, now that I have made room for it.
I could have stayed out there in the “cool” (80 degrees) for another 20 minutes, but my hips began to hurt so bad I was shaking. So here I am, boring the Undeaders.
(I also found the dresses that were made for me in Pak.)
Fascinating!
Hey, good for you! I hope to find several things, if we ever move.
I will call tomorrow and set up a time for the truck to come and get a load of stuff so I have more room to work, though the patio is quite large. The tubs are lined up along the fence, so it doesn’t look too crowded.
There is one box filled with papers and I need to throw them out. I think I will do it a little at a time, because they have personal information on them.
I thought I would be too tired to do this, but I’m anxious to get it done with. Of course, I have to go work on the linen closet so I can make room for a couple more tubs, but that’s still doable.
And once I get the china hutch out of here, it will be easier to do the other chores that are associated with making the place look bigger.
Just don’t get carried away in your enthusiasm!
I took Tom up to catch his bus at the Council office. He’s got a massive upper-respiratory crud. I gave him Sudafed to clear his sinuses so he doesn’t get a sinus infection, and Mucinex to clear his chest so he doesn’t get bronchitis.
Hopefully he’ll get better this week. At least he didn’t break his glasses again: the other pair is still in the shop!
Utter madness...
I have no excuse for not locking the door.
Thinking about cooking dinner and the two
day recovery period from cooking dinner
always gets me in trouble.
Enthusiasm is a nice feeling. For so many years, I was just too tired to want to do anything, including getting out of bed. So this wanting to do something constructive is really more like my old Me. I like it!
I know the broken glasses thing...my mother had three of us in glasses at the same time, two in elementary school and one in high school, and broken glasses were common.
I hope Tom feels better, anyway.
hey ... I remember that place. I used to work there.
Tom is determined to persevere. If he remembers to take the medicine, he should be able to make it. I told him to try to avoid making a really sick-sounding cough in front of adults!
If Tom takes his medicine, he probably won’t make too many sick-sounding coughs in front of anybody!
That would be ideal!
