I saw a video of the head of AT&T “answering” Arlen Specter on whether or not he gave private phone call info to the feds. At least ten times he said, with a smirk, “We follow the law.” I can see these VA guys doing the same thing but saying “We did what we were told to do but have been ordered under threat of prosecution not to divulge who issued the orders.”
And that’s what I want to know. Who came up with the idea of cooking the books. It had to come from up on the mountain because every hospital did the exact same thing.
