I have mixed feeling here. It is good that the Swiss depend only on themselves to enforce their neutrality. Hitler knew better than to try to go through their territory. On the other hand if Europe became the new Reich how long would Hitler have tolerated a independent Swiss territory?

Hitler seriously considered invading Switzerland. Plans were drawn up and units were assigned. Then Hitler got distracted by Russia.

Wikipedia has an interesting article about this. I came across it by accident awhile back.

The Swiss let trains full of people going to concentration camps go thru their country knowing full well these people were going to die.
