Yeah it will make it so that you won’t have to see the annoying tiles(Unless you want to, by clicking the windows button the keyboard) also..not sure if you will have any issue but if your laptop will have bluetooth..I had an issue that my desktop bluetooth was NOT compatible with the windows 8 update..it made it so that the PC would take forever to shut down, took 20 dell reps to finally figure out the problem, had to roll back the update to 2012 so that I wouldnt have anymore issues so be aware of that
