Obama's a figurehead. He's there because he's black, and so anyone who disagrees with Leftist Regressive policy will be called "wacist".

Obama goes on vacation because the powers that be in Washington (Reid, Pelosi, Jarrett, etc.) want him out of the way while they formulate policy.

Obama is about to outlive his usefulness. Obama's approval rating is now below 40%. If it goes below 35%, look for soemthing bad to happen to him. I can see Valerie Jarrett giving some mentally deranged man a gun and telling him that Obama's the one putting voices in his head.

As we've seen with Marxists and Fascists, martyrs are much more useful and easier to handle.

And then what would happen to poor Valerie? Would President Biden keep her on the staff or will he purge all the Obamabots and put his own people in place?

Jarrett needs Obama alive, because he's the one who won. It's his office, not hers, and if he leaves, she leaves.
