I flew Emirates quite a bit when I was in the Mid East. They always had a Brit or American pilot on board when flying into the US.

LOL, we have the Young Eagles program where the parents only have to buy gas. The program is ran by pilots who donate their time and aircraft. It’s an under 18 program but they can continue under scholarship after high school.

Code Toad, I think you are being generous when you describe it as a regular commercial ticket. It’s been a long time since I read it’s description, but I recall that it had no solo time, no cross country as solo or PIC, probably no good ol’ sectional/plotter/E6B cross country planning....etc.
