They will rarely execute a search warrant on a lawyer's office, but they will serve the lawyer with a subpoena.

Assuming they know the lawyer has the drive. Just don't answer any questions with anything but "please direct all questions to my attorney".

...which will tip them off, if they're on their toes, that the lawyer may have something worth subpoeaning.
